WINNER OF THE SPOTIFY KOFORIDUA MUSIC AWARDS 2023

 

This year it was a great and perfect festival which features a lot of great musicians on one stage including the baddest reggae and dancehall artiste Kevin Lawrence from Jamaica who also came with the electric performance to grace the occasion. 

Curtains has been drawn down for the second edition of the SPOTIFY KOFORIDUA MUSIC AWARDS 2023, which was held at Godfathers Bar and Lounge inside Embassy and Diplomat Hotel in Koforidua has come to an end

and the winners is as follows; 

BEST SONG OF THE YEAR won by MAVIS OWUSU-POKU "Jolene Ft. Nana K. Appiah".

BEST HIGHLIFE SONG OF THE YEAR won by M PHYVE "Save Me".

BEST GOSPEL SONG OF THE YEAR won by MINISTER IKE "Only God".

BEST RAP/DRILL SONG OF THE YEAR won by CONFIDENCE "Agogo Lane".

BEST HIP HOP SONG OF THE YEAR won by RAINFALL "Scare Them".

BEST REGGAE/DANCEHALL SONG OF THE YEAR won by KEVIN LAWRENCE "Clinging".

ARTISTE OF THE YEAR won by MINISTER IKE.

BEST SONGWRITER OF THE YEAR won by MAVIS OWUSU-POKU "Jolene Ft. Nana K. Appiah".

MOST POPULAR SONG OF THE YEAR won by MINISTER IKE "Only God".

BEST AFROPOP SONG OF THE YEAR won by RAINFALL "Ijeoma".

INTERNATIONAL ARTISTE OF THE YEAR won by MAVIS OWUSU-POKU.

BEST SONG PRODUCER OF THE YEAR won by ZADOUR.

INTERNATIONAL MALE ARTISTE OF THE YEAR won by MINISTER IKE.

There was also a presentation of honors to other musicians in the Koforidua municipality who are putting more effort in the music industry;

BUDGET BWEOY descovered as NEW GENERATION ARTISTE.

SHARP GYAL grabs the BEST INFLUENTIAL ARTISTE.

MAMA ESI was judged the ARTISTE OF THE DECADE.

JAYZEE BLACK received the BEST PERFORMING ARTISTE.

GODFATHERS BAR & LOUNGE picked up the BEST EVENT CENTRE OF THE YEAR.

Next year's event will see another great talents from the Eastern Region capital Koforidua.
